I can't get over how beautiful this 1920s dress is! It's a beautiful deep burgundy/wine colour. It's a drop waist dress with ruffles along the hips. There is also a bow-like detail on the right shoulder which adds the most feminine touch! It has quarter length sleeves and would be perfect for the holidays!
SIZE: XS (for best fit), The only closure are the snaps on the side of the neck.
CONDITION: Poor. Overall the dress is sturdy but does have some issues, which go as followed:
- Severe shedding/pealing of the velvet on both shoulders.
- The dress closes with snaps on the collar, one snap is missing.
- One small hole on the left shoulder.
- Velvet is starting to peal. on the neckline.
- Some areas of the velvet are crushed (this is evident in the 6th picture, on the top ruffle, those two lighter spots are not holes)
- Two spots on the left arm where the velvet has come off and all that's left is netting.
- Velvet on right elbow is starting to fade
- Overall the velvet is shedding due to old age, This would be best as a study piece or for display.
